My Story
My name is Derek Shore, and I'm a Marketing Content Coordinator for Element 79 Media Group out of Cassville, Missouri. Since November 2022, I have captured memorable moments of local events in the Barry County area along with numerous construction projects and nature shots across the Show-Me State using a drone.

Since November 2022, I have captured memorable moments of local events in the Barry County area along with numerous construction projects and nature shots across the Show-Me State using a drone.
I have previously completed two years as a Sports Reporter for The Joplin Globe. I've spent six years as a beat writer for the Springfield Cardinals, the Double-A affiliate of the 11-time World Series Champion St. Louis Cardinals, contributing for The Cardinal Nation.com.
I am a freelance sports writer and available upon request in the Southwest Missouri area. I studied journalism at Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri.
Skills include researching, interviewing, reporting, copyediting, storytelling, video editing, and photo editing. FAA Part 107 Certified Drone Pilot. Experienced in using Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, and Social Media.
